That Cup Of Tea..

It was normal, it was fine,
Their days were jolly, they slept on time.
They had friends, lovely ones,
But still something, was undone.

They knew each other, texted a lot,
Sometimes, they would never give a damn thought.
They were not best friends,
But they were friends, after all.

Seldom they would see each other,
Never thought of eating together.
Days would pass, becoming months,
There would be no sign of both of them.

Slowly, gradually that day arrived,
When even spirits were waiting for  the twist in time.
That day was lazy, during chilly winters,
They had decided to share a cup of tea together.

Like the leaves turn green,
After rains.
Like the wet mud smells,
Near the sea shells.

There was a twist that had come,
In the straight road without a turn.
Now, seldom was a seldom word,
Often was the latest term.

Talks and thoughts they started sharing,
Everyday was a new beginning.
Life was in happiness and glee,
They daily met for a cup of tea.

They stole a part of each other's heart,
They still do not know from where did it start.
But after going through this poetry,
You also know, it was that cup of tea.

Apologies....

When the sky was dark and you found yourself nowhere, When the clouds thundered and you found yourself lost... You wished I was there , I would sacrifice, But I did not... I apologize. When the world was against you and you found yourself alone, When everyone ignored you and you found yourself away... You wished I was there , I would sympathize, But I did not... I apologize. When you were burdened with troubles and you found yourself without a penny, When there was no helping hand and you found yourself lonely... You wished I was there , I would compromise, But I did not... I apologize. I wanted to make that sky clear I desired to be close and near. I craved to take you away from ignorance I urged to fill your world with fragrance. I aspired to be on your side I wanted to be your safest place to hide. But I could not recognize... I apologize. I know these apologies will not soothe your pain These apologies will not bring those days again.

This world is round

I kept on walking in a queue  Avoiding all voices coming to my ears. I kept on watching the drops of dew, Thinking how this world revolves around smiles and tears. In this queue I met many faces, These faces became familiar at once. They left when we were learning tying shoe laces, And never hoped to meet them again. I still kept on walking coz' life said so Letting the trees and flowers shed their leaves. I Watched the birds sitting in a row, And the priests turning their rosary beads. But who can deny the truth of science, That this world is round and moves around. The one you left, their existence Is still there making that familiar sound. Like the new morning gives you the old sunrays, Similar are the ways of life. You can come across those gone days, And meet your forgotten guys. So, be ready to taste the spice, No one knows in which corner you will be found. Oh! Not the corner of course, This is true that this world is round.
Fading Memories..... Viewing the outside world through my eyes dry I was standing at my doorstep Suddenly some chuckling noise I could hear, with my whole heart and soul in fret Stealthily I entered in that sound ,everything was blurred and no one around That image became clear and I could see,my real and everlasting memories That chuckling noise was no one else but me and my notorious friends That was the time when I was a school kid, when no one questioned about whatever I did We were walking through the corridors, plucking flowers with our tender hands I could hear the bell that rang forcing us to stand and pray then our stupid games began Then I moved on in our classes, those scratched windows with glasses Hey! I can see our names still there for which we were scolded and warned not to be spared Now I am moving more deeper, the whistling noise, its time to recreate and rejoice The ground is vast and free,we are there rushing down the
